Response Times
We aim to respond to all enquiries within two working days. During busy periods it may take a little longer, but we read every message. If your query is urgent (for example, a calculator is returning clearly wrong results), please put "Urgent" in the subject line and we will prioritise it.

Are HomeCalc tools free to use?
Yes, completely free. There is no signup, no subscription, and no hidden paywall. Our calculators are funded by advertising.
Can I suggest a new calculator?
Absolutely. We build new calculators based on what UK homeowners actually need. If there is a home improvement calculation you cannot find a good tool for, email us and we will consider adding it to our roadmap.
How accurate are the cost estimates?
Our prices are updated annually using trade and retail averages from major UK suppliers. They are intended as a realistic budget guide. Actual prices vary by region, supplier, and current market conditions, so we always recommend getting a formal quote before committing to a large purchase.
I found an error in a calculator. What should I do?
Please email us with as much detail as you can — the calculator name, the values you entered, and the result you received. We investigate every reported issue and release corrections as soon as possible.
Do you offer trade or commercial accounts?
HomeCalc.uk is designed for individual homeowners and DIY enthusiasts. We do not currently offer commercial accounts or API access, but if you have a trade enquiry, feel free to get in touch.
